Policies

A 25% deposit will hold your
baby in your name and gets the necessary paperwork and sexing if desired
complete. When the deposit is made, I consider that particular baby
sold.

A confirmation letter, the sales
agreement, and band number will then be sent to you via email or through USPS.

At time of delivery, hatch
certificate and baby kit is given to new parroent.

All shipping/crating fees are
the buyer's responsibility.

Prices are subject to change
without notice.

I reserve the right not to sell
a particular species to an individual if I feel it is not a good match for
that home.
Methods of Payment

We do not accept cashier's
checks

International bank checks will
not be accepted

If you live out of state and pay
the balance on your baby by personal check, the check must clear your bank
before shipping.

If you are picking up your baby
and a balance is due, a cash payment will be required before the baby can go
home.
Health Guarantee

Our babies guaranteed healthy at
time of delivery.

You will have 72 hours to get
the baby vet-checked.

I am not responsible for vet
office fees.
-
I will exchange the baby for
another baby of equal value should any health issues be discovered by the vet.
If baby dies, I will require a necropsy.

I've never had a baby
returned to me due to health issues.

Patchwork Parrot Aviary & Rescue
is licensed, inspected, and listed with Georgia Department of Agriculture.
What ifs?

People aren't perfect and
neither are parrots. Fids (feathered kids) are similar to our own
children. When they arrive, they are sweet little helpless babies and as
they grow, they develop their own little quirks and personalities. Like
our human children, some Fids just don't fit into our expectations. These fids
might be "special needs kids".

As the baby grows and develops
in Patchwork Parrot's nursery, we will take note and notify you of any special
traits that might occur. You will know as soon as we know so that you
can make a solid decision if this "not normal" baby will fit into your family.

If this baby is not for you, we
will transfer your deposit to another baby or refund your deposit.
Shipping of these babies will not occur. These babies will be kept in
the nursery for a local parroent to make their decision if this baby is right
for their family.
