Adoption Agreement

Patchwork Rescue/Refuge assumes no responsibility for the health, disposition or medical condition of any adopted animal. It is strongly recommended that all animals have a complete new animal exam at an avian vet within the first 48 hours. If you own another animal it is recommended that you quarantine the new animals separate from all other animals for 30-60 days. All medical costs incurred are the sole responsibility of the adopter. It is also stated that if for any reason you cannot maintain or care for the above said animal it must be returned to the rescue. The animal cannot be sold or re-homed without permission of the refuge/rescue. This includes loss of all said paid adoption fees and no recovery of vet fees paid by the adoptee.
